Membership Fees
Initiation Fee – $500 (Active Military Exempt)
Dues – $360 annually (Pro-rated at ___/12 X $30)
January 1st -----------December 31st
Spouse – $25 annually
Children 23 & Under – Free
Background Check – $40
Spouse/Junior (18 & over) Background - $20
NRA – $35 annually
ADDITIONAL MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Applicants are always welcome to apply for a MSSA membership.
Applications are considered monthly.
All memberships are probationary for the first 12 months.
Applicants for MSSA membership must pay a one time initiation fee of $500.00. Active Military personnel are exempt from the one time initiation fee. The initiation fee plus the pro-rated amount of the annual dues ($360) must be submitted with the application for membership. Dues are pro-rated at 1/12 of the annual dues times the remaining full months of the year.
Annual dues are due 360.00 and due on January 1st each year.
Associate memberships are available for spouses of MSSA members, and a Junior membership is available for dependent children. No initiation fee is required for associate or junior members. Recurring Associate annual dues are $25.00 per year.
Dependent children under the age of 23 are considered Junior members and incur no membership fees. At the time of application, Associate and Junior members (over 18) will be charged half price ($20) for their background checks.

REQUIRED MSSA SAFETY CLASS
MSSA Member Applicants are required to complete a RANGE SAFETY CLASS
before they are allowed to shoot at any ranges located on the
Memphis Sport Shooting Association property.
The required range safety class is presented by the MSSA Chief Safety Officer.
Applicants will be scheduled for a range safety class with the submission of their application. This required Safety Class outlines the rules and regulations specific to Memphis Sport Shooting Association and the property on which MSSA is located.
The safety class is given in the conference room at the main clubhouse. All applicants, spouses, children and or grandchildren ages 10 and over are required to attend.
Dependent children and or grandchildren under the age of 24 are considered Junior members and incur no membership fees, but they are required to attend the MSSA range safety class .
